Walker 2 Months

Little man, you are two months old!

You continue to be a very laid back baby. I would say your temperament is very chill and mild.  It takes a good bit to get your upset (you're definitely not a big crier still) and it also takes a lot of work to get you smiling.  When you do smile though, you smile with your whole face and its precious! Heart. Melt. 

 Here is your schedule on a normal day:

7am: wake, nurse

8:30 nap

10: wake, nurse

11:30 nap

1: wake, nurse

2:30 nap

4: wake, nurse

In the evenings you will cat nap most times, but no planned nap

6:30 nurse

8/8:30 nurse and down for the night

In the past two weeks (around 6 weeks old) you started doing 5-7 hour stretches at night.  A few nights you went 8-9 hours!  Woo hoo! 

In the past week I think you have been growing because you have been back to 4-5 hr stretches and getting up 1-2x a night.  Thats ok, you're a super fast nurser and you go right back down. 

You are freakishly strong...for real!  You like to stand up.  You also push off when you're on your belly and "jump"six inches or so at a time.  Its impressive.  You have very good head control.  Lifting that big ol' thing off the ground is exercise though! 

You have beautiful blue eyes!

2 month stats: 

Weight: 12lbs 3 oz, 41%

Height: 23 3/4 in, 40%

Head: 40.5in, 84%

Still rockin' that big noggin! 

Likes: Bath, eating time, bjorn bouncer, mommy and daddy's face, your big brother

Dislikes: not too much that I can think of...today I can definitely say you don't like shots!

This month we noticed a touch of eczema so we started some aquafor and it look much better!

You sleep in your crib all night! You take naps either in your crib or mamaroo.  You do pretty well in both. 

Banks still calls you "Walter"...so your nicknames are Walter, wa wa, lil boy, angel, and baby boy

Breastfeeding is still going well. You are a really fast nurser, maybe 10-15 min total.  You still spit up but it has gotten better!  Maybe it won't be as bad as Banks (fingers crossed!).

You like your paci, but I wouldn't say you love it.  You could take it or leave it, but it does soothe you sometimes.

Walker, you are the PERFECT addition to our family and I could not love you more.  You are as sweet as sugar and a joy to be around.  Happy 2 months, baby boy!
