THANKSGIVING

We had a great Thanksgiving!  We celebrated at my parents house with both mine and Matts family.

Sweet little turkeys!  All that's missing is Lawson (dont worry he had his turkey outfit on too)

Aunt Jordan (and his boy cousin buddy) playing on the floor with Lawson!

My brother and Olivia SURPRISED my parents by showing up today when they told us they were staying in Charleston.  So sweet!

The turkey masters!

Kids table! Cheers!

Happy Thanksgiving!  So thankful for my family and friends!

Turkey Trot

This year we ran the Turkey Trot race early morning on Thanksgiving!

Here is our crew! Some walked and others ran.

My running buddies!

Go yaya!

So this was Banks first race.  There was a kids one mile and he was determined to do it.  He told me he was going to run the whole thing and no stopping...and he did!  I was SO proud of him!  He was tired and it was a long race, but he did it!  GO BANKS! He clocked in a little under 12 min :)

When we passed anyone he would say "we passed you!"... we will need to work on that haha.

It was a good way to burn some calories before eating all that turkey :)

Christmas Lights

I just LOVE Christmas!  We kicked off the Christmas season by going to the Chairman's Lighting of the Saluda Shoals lights.  It was so much fun to get a sneak peak at the lights and go before any crowds!

There was a precious Santa there and Banks was quick to hop in his lap and tell him he wanted a "teenage mutant ninja turtle playset and a pie face game."

Walker would have NOTHING to do with Santa.  Lawson didn't mind him :)

Fun crafts for the kids and dinner/drinks for the adults!

They had AWESOME 3D glasses which made the lights look like different thing (santa, snowmen, reindeer, stars, etc)

All the kids lined up for the BIG countdown to turn on the lights for the season!

Theres the giant lightswitch!

We took a small tractor ride around the park to see the lights for the first time!

There was an amazing tube slide that the boys LOVED! No lines meant they did it 100x!

Banks, Matt and Walker zoom by me and Lawson in a blur! SO FUN!

The very next night the lights were open to the public and the first night they're open they now do a 5K stroll through the lights instead of in your car.  Well GG, Pop Pop, the Monks, Ya Ya, and us decided it would  be fun.  And it WAS!

Ready to walk!

These two...BFFs!

Since Lawson had had a late night the night before at the lights, daddy stayed home to put him to bed.  So it was me and my big boys!

What a great kick off to Christmas!  Its gonna be a fun season!

Lawson 3 Months

Lawson you are THREE months old (post is late, but pics were on time;)

You are a SWEET SWEET baby! You just love to smile ALL day!  You smile and giggle so much and I love it!

Your head control is getting stronger and you can really hold your head up on your own now.  You love anything that has you sitting up and looking around. You like you play mat a good bit too, both tummy and back time. Your brothers love to lay on it and play with you ;)

We had your weight rechecked and you are 12lbs 5 oz, 9th%.  We will have to supplement a little to see if we can get your weight up.  You take a bottle like a champ so I don't think this will be an issue.

I went back to work this month (two days a week) and you stay with Nana, your great grandmother.  She LOVES the time with you and I think its so special you get to have this time with her!  You have done awesome with her and gramps!  You love some one on one attention ;)

Your favorite things are the baby bjorn, being tickled (especially under your chin), your brothers, and your paci.  You don't really love the car, but you're getting better at it!

Schedule:

Eat at 7am
Nap at 8:30-10
Eat at 10am
Nap 11:30-1pm
Eat 1pm
Nap 2:30-4pm
Eat 4pm
no nap (most days you can make it)
Down for bed at 7pm (eat before bed)

You had been getting up just once at night, but now on some nights you get up twice.  I know you need to get bigger so I don't mind sneaking in extra nursing sessions, but mama is getting tired ;)

Sometimes you fight bedtime and other nights you go right now.  Your sleep patterns are a little different than your brothers, but we are learning what works best for you and what to expect from you.

You wear 3-6month clothing and size 2 diapers!

You still look A LOT like Banks to me, but you are getting your own look.  I just love those big brown eyes!

You have been to the church nursery a lot and you do GREAT!

We love you so much, little guy!

First Day of SCHOOL 2016

Looking back I realized in all the end of pregnancy/new baby craziness I forgot to post our first day of school pics!

Here is the crew at MEET THE TEACHER!  This is Walkers first year getting to go to Lexington Baptist for MMO!

We tried...

In his little classroom meeting his teachers :)

The snow cone truck was at school to celebrate meet the teacher!

Banks started on a Tuesday, but W only goes wed/thurs so his first day was the next day :)

Ready to go! How does he look so big and mature here???

The first day was also his BIRTHDAY! He got to bring special treats on his first day back.

These two are in the same class this year for the last time.  Kinda makes me sad as they have been together their whole life.  I know its good for them, but next year will be a tough transition.

Walker's first day! Poor Lawson haha.

Banks is not so sure about being responsible for both these creatures in pics now haha

Off to LBP!  They did great and had a wonderful first day!  Walker did so well but was ready to see his mommy at 11:45!  He has had some tearful drop offs, but overall he has done really well. So proud of that boy!

Still a little unsure...

Banks has started off this year FABULOUSLY!  And has done great in 4K! He is already working on reading small books and loves learning about letters and math! Great job B!

This is Banks and Blakelys last year at LBP. We will miss it for them, it has been such a blessing and they have adored it!  Both of them will be off to Northside Christian Academy next year! We are so excited for them!
