Banks' Favorites: 3 Yrs Old

I copied this idea from a friend (thanks Courtney!) and it was too good not to do.  I know Banks was three two months ago, but better late than never!

what is your favorite thing to eat for supper?  Green Beans (uh, this is not accurate, but we will go with it)

what is your favorite outfit? My Candy Corn (has a shirt with a candy corn on it for halloween)

what is your favorite thing to do outside?  Play with my lawn mower

what is your favorite thing to play inside?  Play toys

what do you like to sleep with at night?  my dinosaurs

Two Pumpkins!

On Sunday night we carved pumpkins with the boys.  And when I say "with the boys," it was more like Matt and I cut, gutted, drew, and carved, but they watched...and played with pumpkin guts. So it was a win-win. 

Don't let that face fool you, this kid loves pumpkin guts.

Oz at Boo at the Zoo

Boo at the Zoo is my favorite event that Riverbanks Zoo puts on!  This year we went on a Monday night and it was not crowded at all.  We basically had the whole place to ourselves.

Banks and Blakely LOVED the maze.  The might have done it 100x that night.  Just kept going over and over again, good thing Pop Pop is patient!

Of course we had to go to the "foam zone"... we waited until the end so they could just go at it.  Its so messy, but so fun!

Walker 10 Months Old

Walker man you are 10 MONTHS old! 

You are just sweet as sugar and your little personality is coming right out.  You are curious, curious, curious.  You are ten times more trouble curious than your brother was.  You are constantly in the dog bowls, unrolling toilet paper, in the trash can, up the stairs, tearing down gates, etc.  You do it all with a little grin on your face, too.  Its a good thing you're cute! 

You are pretty much on the same schedule as last month. I have dropped a bottle usually once a day. Depends on the day which one I drop.  Its usually your 4:30 one.  You still nap at 9 and 2 for about 2 hours each.  You go to bed around 7:30 and usually get up at 7.  You have had a few nights where you have woken up at night, but its not for long.  Otherwise you are a super sleeper!  You still love a paci for sleeping. 

You are BUSY and EVERYWHERE.  You love climbing, crawling, cruising, standing, etc.  You are very fast! 

You have two bottom teeth with one more coming in and three top teeth with one that is almost poking through.  

You LOVE sippy cups and water, like you're obsessed.  If I give Banks his water you will pitch a fit until you get some, too.  You can drain a sippy cup, its pretty impressive!  You use the straw sippy cups. 

You wear mostly 12 months clothes with some 18 months as well.  You can squeeze into a few 9 month outfits if their big.  You wear a size 4 diaper and a 5 at night.  I think your shoes are mostly size 2s.  Yes, you wear shoes now :)

You love to blow raspberries, give kisses, wave, and shake your head no. You shake your head no everytime we ask you anything! You think it is hilarious if we shake our heads back to you! 

You are a cuddly baby!  You are on the go, but will take a break to crawl into my lap and put your head on my shoulder.  Melts my mommy heart every single time. 

You can say "mama" and "dada" but its not always specific.  Every once in a while I get excited because I think you are saying it to me, but probably not haha.

He remains go with the flow and happy.  His big bro is sweet to him and they are best friends.  He did have his first ear infection this month (double ear infection) and he barely complained.  Banks said his ear hurt (which they were perfect) so I had Lauren look in his ears too and BAM double ear infection.  Sweet little kid.  A week on amoxicillin and he was a different baby.  He had been congested for like a month and it cleared him all up.  Now that he feels better he is back to normal, happy Walker!  He does continue to have a little eczema that we treat with aquafor and hydrocortisone cream.

Oh we love you so much Walker!   You have added so much to this family!  Cannot believe we are already thinking and planning for your first bday.  How can that be?  We love you!!!

SC State Fair!

SC state fair was extra fun this year because there was a dino exhibit! One little three year old I know loved that.

Banks was WAY tall enough this year to ride TONS of rides! His loved every ride he rode!

So brave and independent!  When we got to each ride he always wanted to ride "the blue one!" Sometimes he got his wish, other times, not. He survived :)

Banks made friends on each ride he rode.  Luckily his friends on the tea cup weren't too aggressive with the spinning! 

The petting zoo was a hit!  We saw all kinds of animals. 

Banks loved the pigs.  There was a mama pig and lots of baby pigs.

Ran into fun friends at the fair and ended up eating dinner and enjoying the fair together!  We are 0/3 in this pic with kids looking the right way!

Walker was happy to watch B ride all the rides this year.  I have a feeling come next year he won't be so content. 

What a great time we had!  So much fun to watch events like this through a three year olds eyes.  Until next year, fair!
