End of 3K

This school year has been so great! Banks has had the BEST teachers and he has THRIVED.  He has run into his classroom with excitement each day.  I am so thankful for that.

At the end of 3K he knows:
- all letters
-most all letter sounds
- recognizes all family members names and extended family
- can sound out words
- knows all numbers
- starting to add/subtract

and so much more!

He continues to impress us!

They had an end of the year program and we got to go see him perform along with his class.  Walker was ready to watch Bubba!

His class was front row

They sang and did hand motions for 7 songs.  He stood perfectly and sung each word and did each hand motion!  It was probably the cutest thing I've ever seen.

They did a great job!

Banks showing GG all of his artwork for the year!

Banks and his preschool buddy, Brayden. (Don't get TOO close, boys haha)

My two favorite 3K graduates!

Then it was time for the LAST day of school. This school year has seriously FLOWN by!

SUPER proud of you, Banks!  You have done so well and are SUCH a good boy at school.  You did not get in trouble ONE time.  Your teachers had the nicest things to say about you and that makes us proud.  You are very ready for 4K next year and I know you will do so well again.  We love you tons!

Our Favorite Boys

This past weekend we visited our favorite brothers...the Massengills!

Kathryn is again pregnant (more on that later) and that will make SIX boys...all of them have a buddy that was born within a month of them.  Its amazing.  They have so much fun together!

All EIGHT of us!

Kathryn and Caleb just moved into a new house and it has a pool...which was so fun!  They have a diving board and Banks jumped off of it no less than 100x.  He is such a little fish!

Picnic lunch!

We let the big boys skip naps (rebels) to watch a movie and swim some more!  They were WORN out at the end of the day!

So Kathryn and I have shared THREE pregnancies together. Obviously, none of them were planned together or anything.  It is just so weird, but is such a testament to the Lord's goodness.  This pregnancy took us a little by surprise and even more surprised that we would have three boys. Well he gave me a partner and helper for the rest of my life! This journey would not be near as sweet without Kathryn.  One of my life's greatest blessings is sharing this with her.

Constant calls, texts, and visits keep us in daily communication.  We share in the hard times, the potty training, the sleepless nights, the tantrums, the illnesses, the triumphs, the concerns, the happy days, the sweet moments, etc. all as if we were just down the road.

Here we are, Kat is 28 weeks and I am 32.  This is the first time Ive been ahead of her ;)

Of course when I show up Kathryn immediately finds something that matches me haha.

We all had a blast! Thanks Massengills for having us!  We loved it!  Cant wait til the new round of boys can join us ;)

Sea Lions!

The sea lion exhibit is finally almost open at our zoo!  We have been SO excited!  Well they let members get a little sneak peak this week and we had to go check it out.

The whole way there we would mention "sea lion" and Walker would roar like a lion, haha.  We had to explain to him that this was a different type of lion, he wasn't buying it.

The new exhibit is AWESOME!  I love the sea lions!

The kids loved watching them jump in and out of the water and flap around.  They are pretty cool.

The weather was perfect and it was such a fun family night.  The boys even got to pick out stuffed animals from the gift shop (which they never get to do!).  Of course Walker picked an elephant, his favorite animal.  He walks around doing the elephant noise all around the house, complete with trunk movement (his arm flying into the air).  He LOVES animals right now (dogs, elephants, cats, horses, ducks, pigs, monkeys, you name it.)  Banks picked a penguin, you never know with him, haha.  It wasn't a reptile which was a SHOCK, but he does love penguins!

He held that poor elephant by the trunk all night.  Hes the sweetest.

Can't wait to go back and see the sea lions again soon!

Surprise Sprinkle for Lawson

This past Saturday I had the BEST surprise!  And I mean I was SURPRISED!

I was supposed to be going to lunch with Jordan and my MIL for a late mother's day lunch since Jordan was in town.  And keep in mind, this was MY idea, so that really had the suspicion low. Well when I walked up to our table in Private Property there was a "SURPRISE!" and my family and friends were all there!

Jordan had thrown a sprinkle for me and baby Lawson! SO sweet!

The whole day was so fun and it was just with the closest family and friends.  I loved it!

Party-planner extraordinaire!

All the shower guests :)

Even Olivia came up from Charleston, that was a very nice surprise!

Matt's family

Sister!

It was such a fun day and a crazy surprise.  This baby boy is already so loved!  Don't think that just because he's the third he's any less anticipated or loved.  I can't wait to meet my little guy!
