This year we went back to Wilderness at the Smokies and had another fun week at the water park! This time we invited our friends the Massengills to come and it was A BLAST!
This vacation is just perfect for these little ages. Not TOO much to do, but plenty to keep them entertained and busy all week!
This baby is the best. He is so go-with-the-flow and loves the water. He splashed and played on his tummy all week. Never made a fuss.

These two spent a lot of time in their "go pods" and they were a lifesaver! Both of them LOVED being able to stand up and watch the action.

The resort this week was NOT CROWDED at all. Most places we went we were the only ones there. We ate at the "Thirsty Miner" one night (the restaurant in the resort) and we literally had the place to ourselves. That's good because we were a rowdy bunch. I am sure the wait staff cringed when they hear "4 adults, 6 children" haha!

One night we went "mini bowling!" It was so cute, they had little bowling balls just for kids.
There weren't any bumpers so it was still kinda hard. They liked it though!
STRIKE!
Banks is the bravest kid! He rode ALL the big waterslides except for one that he was too short for. He is FEARLESS! He wanted to do the ropes course SO BADLY so one night Matt took him down there and did it with him. It was TALL and he didn't mind at all. He begged to do it over and over.

We went and ate at Joes Crab Shack and they have an awesome playset to play on while we wait for food.

What a blast this week was! Still crazy (and I mean CRAZY) that we have identical families. What are the odds?!?

It was seriously the perfect vacay! We had so much fun. It was strangely relaxing even though we had six boys with us. The water park was perfect for each one of them at their own ages. Banks loved the water slides, Wilson loved the wave pool, Wallace and Walker loved the toddler area, the babies loved their go pods, and ALL of them loved the HOT TUB! Seriously we could barely get them out! So glad Kathyn and Caleb could come with us, it wouldn't have been half as fun without them! Until next year!
