Snow Day!

On Wednesday January 29th we experienced our first snow in our new house!  It was the most snow I had seen in a LONG time, it was beautiful!

We woke up Wednesday morning to almost FIVE inches in our yard!

Now Banks....he LOOOOVED the snow...and that is not an exaggeration.   He would have spent hours out there unphased by the blistering cold, wind, wet socks, etc.  The only time he was upset was when we had to come inside (insert image of biggest toddler temper tantrum ever...every time we went inside). 

We walked the trails that surround our yard...so magical!

Banks kept falling all over the place, he had trouble with the deep snow. :)

Snow was also for eating, rolling around in, crawling in, throwing, etc.

Figured out quickly that I own zero snow gear...oops.

That afternoon we visited GG and Pop Pop and GG taught B to make snow cream.

Mmmmmm!

Of course he could not get enough snow cream, who can blame him?

Most of our snow is melted two days later, except in the shade. It was so fun...and it was really fun to have my whole family home for a special 1.5 days in the middle of the week, snow days are the best!
