Lawson at 17 months!

 

Oh my little Lawson!  How in the WORLD are you almost 1.5?!?!

 

Just so you know no matter how old you get, you will always be "the baby."

 

 

You are growing so big and its killing mommy!  I didn't quite get to do all your monthly pictures (sorry, third kid...) so heres a recap!

 

 

You walked right at 12 months!  You started crawling really early so we thought it would be before your bday, but you waited!  You are now running and climbing everywhere!

 

You babble and make sounds and noises all day, but so far, not much of a talker. You have said "mama," "dee dee" , "KK", "more", "that", "cat", "cheese" but the other really consistent word is "cheese..." and its "cheese I wanna take a picture", not the food. haha!

 

You will make some grunt or noise and both your brothers will translate some long sentence that you "said."  So its no wonder you don't need to talk!

 

You are a great eater! You love to eat most anything!  Your favorite foods are:

corn

peas

cheese sticks

mac and cheese

pb and j

grilled cheese

any type of fruit!

crackers

oatmeal

nutrigrain bars

basically all sweets (just like B)

 

Lets take a moment and talk about that hair! You had your first hair cut and daddy was worried it was gonna cut out all the curl...well it just came back curlier!  Your hair is crazy and has a mind of its own... but its SO sweet and people complement you on it every day. Who would have thought I would get a blonde haired curly headed baby!!!???

 

You LOOOOVE your brothers. You would do anything as long as they did it too.  You constantly look to them for your next move.  They love you right back and treat you so sweet.  They have never once been jealous of you.  They include you in anything they do.  One of my BIGGEST prayers for the three of you is that you will always see what a treasure a sibling is.  There is nothing like it in the world and I hope you never take eachother for granted. 

 

You love animals (so does Walker).. you will pet any strange dog or cat.  You love tiger and love to jump on his back and "ride" him while he is lying down. He puts up with your perfectly.  

 

You have the sweetest and cutest personality.  You are a super smiley child and also always are smiling. You are pretty go with the flow, as long as mommy is around. You are def still a mamas boy. You also REALLY love your GG and Dee Dee! You go right to them!

 

You have never been my best sleeper...but its ok! You took until about 12-13 months to sleep through the night consistently.  Now you go to bed around 7 and wake at 6.  I would prefer to slept in until 7, but what are you gonna do.  You take 1-2 naps a day still...you are FIGHTING giving up morning nap (probably because you get up at 6) and often fall asleep in the car or stroller in the mornings.   Your afternoon nap is usually 1-3:30 or so.  

 

You kept getting ear infections so we had tubes placed this year and its been great, its really helped you!  You also have 16 teeth!

 

You are still tiny, but at your 16 month apt (a month late for 15 month apt) your stats were:

 

weight: 20 lbs 13 oz  (13%!!!!!)

height: 47%

Lawson, we just love you so much! You are the perfect caboose to our family. Your sweet and silly personality has the perfect spot in our family.  You will always be my little baby.  We pray that you grow up and know that we love you so very much and are so proud of you.  We also pray that you grow up and know Jesus!  To know the fullness of his grace and mercy and trust him as your Lord and Savior! That is our biggest prayer!  We love you so much!
