Walker at 3!

Walker, tomorrow you will be THREE! 

 

I can hardly believe you are already three years old! 

 

Two has been a hard age for you, but its also been my favorite.  You are not quite as easy going as your older brother, but you make up with it with your absolute sweetness!  You are stubborn at times, but you need your mama and snuggles, too.  You are our family CLOWN!  We sit around and laugh at you all the time because  you really are that funny! You have the most expressive face, Dee Dee always says its like you were born with extra muscles in your face to get it to do that. haha! 

 

You LOVE your brothers, especially Banks. You want to do everything he does and follow him around.  You love super heroes, especially incredible hulk and batman.  You LOVE LOVE LOVE to wrestle with daddy.  When daddy gets home you say "daddy, im on gween, I can westle!" (We have a color system for behavior at home and if you stay on green you get full privileges, one of which is wrestling with daddy).

 

You haven't had your 3 year check up but at your 2.5 year check up you were:

 

Weight: 40%

Height: 41%

 

Your favorite foods are mac and cheese, any kind of " 'nack", corn, creamed corn, "hot dogs with a stick" aka corn dogs, strawberries, blue berries, cheese sticks, and oatmeal.

 

You still take your nap every day from about 1:30-4ish.  You still sleep in your crib on weekdays, but weekends you sleep in the bottom bunk in banks room.  You still LOVE your "baba" AKA a sippy cup of warm milk when you wake up and go to bed.  You cant live without it Im pretty sure , ha!

 

You do get in trouble a lot at home, its true.  You go to time out more than either one of your brothers.  BUT, you have never once gotten in trouble at school or church.  You are always well behaved, for which I am thankful!  You are learning so much in school! You know all your colors and shapes and you recognize your name.  You know some of your letters and can count all the way to 20.  You love learning!

 

Walker, you can be the sweetest, cutest thing in the entire world...I am serious.  You can put on the charm and that little face and it melts my heart.  You are my fellow middle child and I admit I have a soft spot for you.  One of the funniest things you have said is we were outside eating on a patio and a woman starting smoking, you screamed "why is that woman eating candles?!?"

 

You are constantly taking your shoes off and love being barefoot. ALL the time!  Potty training has not happened yet, mostly because you just don't care.  Were not pushing it!

 

You have started to say your own little prayers and they come out so sweetly. You have a tender heart and it melts mine.  You are learning about Jesus and some comes from your parents, but a lot of what you are understanding you are learning from your 5 year old brother because knows just the way to teach you.  I pray that continues.  I pray that your knowledge and love for Jesus grows. 

 

We love you so much, buddy. Our family would not be half as much fun without you around. You have the perfect space in our family that only you can fill!  We wouldn't have it any other way! Happy birthday Walker!
