The First Fairwell

As our time in Charleston is winding down, we spend a lot of our time "wrapping up" things here.  A lot of this is no fun, i.e. finishing things at work, trying to sell the house, packing, etc, but occasionally it is fun! This weekend we had an example of the "fun" stuff which included a wonderful going away party for Matt hosted by his work. 

They rented a box at the Riverdogs game for him and it was a blast!

Even Banks got to come for a little bit, but his grandparents came and picked him up halfway through the game because it was becoming bed time. 

While he was there though he loved the game and actually "watched" a little bit.  He was more interested in why everyone was clapping and cheering, ha.

Matt has had the chance to meet and work with such a wonderful group of people.  He will really miss his days at Roper, but we are excited for his next chapter. 

A lot of people came to wish Matt well, it was so nice!

Matt is so blessed by his experience at Roper and it has opened so many doors for him.

This is the first of many goodbyes that are lined up for the next couple of months. Its still all surreal, but we are really getting excited about the move.  We have had a lot of showings on our house and one offer that didn't work out, but we are praying that a solid offer comes soon!
