10 Months Old

We are in double digits...TEN months old!

This month has been full of LOTS of changes!

If I thought your 9 month pictures were hard, ha!  Ten months is near impossible...you do not want to sit still for one second!  Not to mention you have FOUR teeth coming in on top and are recovering from roseola.  You can see you face looks a little "sick" in these pictures...poor, poor baby!  (or poor mommy and daddy as four teeth and a high fever are r.o.u.g.h.)

You are majorly crawling and have progressed from army crawl to a regular crawl.  You will still sometimes army crawl on a slick surface like hardwoods or tile.  You pull up on EVERYTHING (tables, chairs, stairs, my leg, toilets!).  Then you happily cruise around and sometimes from object to object.  You have mastered going from coffee table to couch and you are working on others.  You will walk with a walker or easily if holding our hand. 

You LOVE to climb!  Your favorite is to climb from the couch to the end tables...it happens quickly, we have to watch you!  You also have radar for anything that could get you in trouble, especially dog bowls!  You bee-line for Tiger's bowls if you see them down, its the fastest you can crawl hands down.  We are working on "no." Sometimes you listen, sometimes you laugh, but its going to be a process. 

You also love to stand up in your crib and use it like a trampoline.  This resulted in one busted lip, but you recovered quickly, just scared your mommy and daddy!

You are a very great eater.  You eat anything and everything, you never turn down something and are always willing to try.  One night you ate a whole grilled cheese, a container of diced peaches, and a whole yogurt at Panera. We had to cut you off!  You eat whatever we are eating and have no trouble at all with different textures.  You love all fruits including kiwi!  You really like to feed yourself, you eat a lot more if you're able to. 

You have been working on sign language and you have mastered "all done."  This is helpful when you are in your high chair and are finished eating or if you want to stop doing something.  You caught on very quickly :)

You are wearing all size 12 month clothes and size 4 diapers.  You are also wearing a size 3 shoe.

You are not a big fan of milk right now, all you want to drink is water!  You LOVE your sippy cup and drink great from it. 

You are still a very "verbal" baby.  You make ALL kinds of noises!  You still love to scream, but we are working on your "inside voice" haha.  Daddy and I swear that you say "yea" correctly in response to our questions :)

You have a GREAT personality full of spunk!  I love that with each day we learn more and more about your little personality.  You are going to keep us on our toes, Banks, and I love that about you.  There is never a dull moment around here!

This past month as I mentioned you had Roseola (fever of 103 for a few days) on top of four top teeth coming in at one time!  That will make your total teeth 6.  I guess four at a time is good because we can just get it over with, but it has been MUCH rougher than the first two. 

We love you so much Banks, I wouldn't trade a minute of these last 10 months!
