Edisto 2014

Its been over a month since we were Edisto with my family, but I am just getting around to sorting through the MILLIONS of pictures that we took to capture our vacation. 

We had such a great time and it was a week full of memories! 

One of Banks and Blakely's favorite things at the beach was to "ride."  Whether it was in the wagon, the bikes, or the stroller. 

They also LOVED the beach.  They loved building sandcastles, swimming in the ocean, and just running around. 

So we attempted at kid pictures, but this was about the best you could get out of two toddlers and an infant. The outtakes are better anyways! 

These two loved waking up and going to sleep each night knowing GG and Pop Pop were there!  They  sure do love their grandparents! 

Sometimes you just have to laugh!

The ice cream truck came around each night at a very inconvenient 5:00 (right before dinner).  One night GG and Pop Pop threw caution to the wind and got these two littles an ice cream bar and fudge-sicle.  Needless to say, they enjoyed it.  

It was so nice to relax with family and get to enjoy my hubby for a week too!  No work, no cell phones, just us!

Almost every night my parents would put the kids down and let Matt, I, and Lauren and Richard enjoy the evening.  Some nights we met up with Cameron and Jonathan (which were staying right down the street) or other nights we went and hung out on the beach.  So fun!

These tubes are AMAZING!  It let both kids swim independently, which was awesome! They had a blast because of it.

The day our vacation started was the same day Richard finished his fellowship!!!!  It was so exciting!  Well my parents watched the kids one night so that the four of us could celebrate at the Post Office.  SO much to celebrate!

Love this handsome hubby of mine.  

We had a pool at the place we stayed and it was awesome to swim with the kiddos and not have to deal with salt water every now and then.

What an AWESOME week with my family.  I loved every second! So many fun memories made and fun times had. I love Edisto because it really gives you that undivided family time.  Can't wait 'til next year!
