DISNEY- Animal Kingdom

Day 2 into Disney we went to Animal Kingdom.  Dinoland was inside Animal Kingdom so you can only imagine the excitement. This was a true HIGHLIGHT for Banks!

There is a ride inside Dinoland called DINOSAUR and it is an adult ride.  There is a warning that it is a bit scary.  Well Banks was determined to ride (of course) and so he did.  Matt went with him since Walker was too small.  Matt told him at the beginning of the ride to roar if he saw any scary dinosaurs and that they would go away.  Well the entire ride dinosaurs are constantly jumping out at you, chasing the jeep, etc.  Matt said the whole time Banks was going "roar, roar, roar, roar!" Sweet boy!

Waiting for Banks in the gift shop!

He got to pick out a prize because he was so brave!  He picked "Carnivore" and he LOVES him.  I asked banks immediately if he wanted to go again and he said it was only a "tiny bit scary, but he doesn't wanna go again."  Gotta love that boy.

Banks got to show Donald Carnivore

Banks was NOT into meeting characters.  Its not like he was at all afraid, he just wanted to ride more rides.  Why would he waste his time? I was a little disappointed contemplating all the missed photo ops, but we went with it and just met a few.

Banks favorite part of Dinoland was the Bone Graveyard playground. It was massive and so much fun!

There was also a dig site at the playground.

So nice to have a place for the little ones just to let loose! Banks would play on the playset all day!

I mean it was a playground with dinosaur bones everywhere, did we have a doubt he would love it?

Next we did the safari, which was MY FAVORITE thing all week!  It was amazing!  SOOO many awesome animals! All four of us just loved it.

We saw elephants, hipps, rhinos, hyenas, zebras, giraffes, lions, etc.  You name it, we saw it.  Amazing.

Our first meet and greet with Mickey and Minnie!

Animal Kingdom was awesome and so much fun!  We loved the safari, triceratop spin, dinosaur, and The Boneyard dig!  Matt rode Expedition Everest and said it was one of the best roller coasters he has ever ridden.
Next time we will miss the Bugs Life Show "Its Tough Being a Bug"...yall it was SUPER scary!  Both boys cried the whole time, felt like a terrible parent haha!
