We have been really excited this year because The Braves have been playing great! We try to go to at least one game every year and this past weekend we made our annual trip to Atlanta. When we got into Atlanta, Matt's dad said he really wanted to get some ribs for dinner, so naturally we googled "best BBQ in Atlanta." It came up with several Top 10 lists and after reading some reviews we settled on "Daddy D'z." We plugged it into the GPS and started on our way. Well...as we kept driving to "Daddy D'z" I started questioning the neighborhood we were driving through. When we finally pulled up it was little more than a shack, covered in graffiti, and looked like we would get mugged just stepping foot out of the car. I wouldn't have walked in there, let alone eat anything that came from their kitchen! Needless to say we moved on to #2 on the list, which was Fat Matt's. It was still a little bit of a "hole in the wall" but it was delicious!
Both the ribs and BBQ were great!
It was a night game that started at 7:00...so much better than last year with the afternoon game in the 100+ degree heat!
They played the Arizona Diamondbacks
One of the most exciting parts of the game was when a teenager jumped over the wall and ran across the outfield. He probably had a good night in jail :)
BUT...the very most exciting part was that Matt caught a foul ball!!! Pretty exciting!

Braves won 8-1! It was a very exciting game with lots of home runs and the Braves played great! Go Braves!
