We had a great experience at Lexington Medical Center. Everything was going great so we were discharged the next day so our hospitalization was fairly short, a little over 24 hrs, but we had some visitors in the mean time :)
My dad came by again to snuggle Walker at one day old :) He also helped us get out of the hospital and home!
Mandy and Brad were so sweet to come meet the second Cogdill baby...it wasn't that long ago they came by MUSC to meet Banks. Glad we have followed eachother from Charleston to the midlands!
Papa and Cici came by again!
Aunt Jordan and Uncle Will came to meet Walker, too!
Banks' Great grandmother and great grandfather (nana and gramps) came, too!
Late night diaper change by the daddy!
I look rough but this is how you look the day after you have a baby
Sweet little burrito!
Ready to go home!
Leaving the hospital
It was weird because I didn't leave in a wheelchair, they let me just walk on out!
Loading up!
When we pulled in our drive way Banks came to help us get Walker out of the car. Luckily it was a rare 70 degree day in December so it made it easy to take a newborn home.
Such a proud big brother! Good job Banks!
Checkin out his new brother at HIS house!
"Tobey" the stork and Tiger greeted us as well.
That night Cameron, Courtney and J came to meet Walker and bring dinner. We had been SUPER blessed by so many meals that were provided for us!
Debra Dele came that night, too! She brought her typical baby gift, which is a dress she made for ME! Can't wait to wear it! Thanks DD!
It has been a transition, but we are doing well as a family of four. Some days have been rough, but others I feel like we've done really well. Walker has been a great baby and is very relaxed. He rarely cries and is very go with the flow. He does enjoy nursing every 2-3 hours at night, but who could blame him?! Every day gets easier!
