Boys Update

So it has been TOO LONG that this blog got away from me. I absolutely love looking back at posts and pictures of the boys growing up.  I am starting back by updating you on ALLL the things! 

 

The boys are growing and changing and are just the best.  They are full of energy and most days they get along so well and are the best of friends... now we all know there are days they don't!  Both L and W thinks Banks hung the moon and would do just about anything he wants.  They have so much fun all together.

 

 

LAWSON!  You are TWO!  You are a ball of fun and almost always smiling.  You are still little at 50% height and 11% weight. 

Your favorite thing is most definitely mommy.  You want to be with me 24/7- don't worry I love you too.  You love anything to do with trucks or cars.  If it has wheels, you want to play with it! 

You think you are big stuff and do not want to be treated like a baby.  You think you are just as big as all the other kids and are so offended when anyone treats you differently. 

You are a great eater and eat almost anything!  You love sweets, just like B! 

You love the trampoline, swimming, the gator, and playing trains. 

You sleep like a CHAMP!  You are SOOO easy going when it comes to bedtime.  We literally put your sleep sack on and toss you in bed and we don't see you until 12 hours later.  Easy going third child (when it comes to bedtime haha)

Your personality is determined and a little stubborn.  You are also a quick laugh and playful.  You still don't like strangers, but are learning to tolerate preschool and church nursery.  We still have tears from time to time. 

You play well by yourself and are easily entertained, most days.  You like ONE TV show and that is "bus"- AKA little baby bum on Netflix.  Weve seen it 100000 times.

You are still not a big talker.  TO ME, you say 50-75 words and put 2 together sometimes, but to other people youre not as clear.  Your receptive language is great though!  You know your colors and allll your body parts!  You love animal noises too! You know most shapes too!

You are smart and stubborn ;)

 

You still nap 1:3-4ish each day and sleep 7-7. 

 

We love to the MOON! You are my baby in every sense of the word.  Never grow up because I don't think mama can handle it!

 

Walker, walker, walker!  You are almost FOUR years old!! I don't know how that's possible.  You are such a JOY to our family.  You bring the fun and the laughter.  We are constantly laughing at your funny personality and dying over the things you say.  You are my most cuddly and sensitive boy, but at the same time my most "aggressive"  and physical.  I don't know how that's possible, but its true.  You make me laugh even in the toughest of situations.  You care deeply about others and want everyone to be happy and safe. 

You love super heros and playing dress up.  Your favorite thing in the world is riding your bike up and down the drive way.  You also love to ride the gator. You and B are constantly making up games and activities to play and do. 

You are so very smart and are learning so much in school. Your teacher never has any complaints about your behavior and you love to go to school.  We are so very proud of you.

I have to document (bc one day it will be funny I assume haha) that bedtime is a STRUGGLE.  It takes us about 30 minutes to put all three of you to bed and 2 min of that is B, 1 min is L and the other 27 is YOU.  You always want one more sip of water, one more song, one more stuffed animal, or you wait until 8pm to poop... EVERY. NIGHT.  It drives me and daddy bananas but one day we will miss it.  You are very attached to Teddy and blue blanket and they sleep with you every night.  The Teddy Bear Song is your favorite.  Once you're asleep though you are asleep for the night.

 

You are a GREAT eater....my best! You love adult food...whatever we are eating! You're not a big sweets eater, unlike your brothers and daddy ;)

 

You still nap most days from 1:30-3:30ish.  If you skip you do pretty well.

 

We love you so very much, our family would not be complete without your JOY!

 

Banks... you are six and in kindergarten.. I don't know how that happened.  You continue to make us SO SO very proud.  You are reading anything and everything.  You can read ANY book we give you and read it easily.  You love to read stories at night before you go to sleep.  You memorize your scripture for school so easily. Your brain is a little sponge.  You are also soaking up information about the Bible and Jesus and your comprehension is so amazing.  We swell with pride. 

Your personality is usually very laid back, but you are definitely a leader.  You are constantly organizing the fun and adventures.  You are compassionate and make friends easily.  You are a rule follower and obedient (most of the time ;)

You love science- science experiments, animals, planets, etc.  All of it.  You love super heroes.  You love mysteries/detective books and shows (like Scooby doo).  You love scary things.  You LOVE to ride your bike and jump on the trampoline. 

You have a best friend at school, Mason.  You two have been in class for two years.  Yall have so much fun together.

You still love PBand Js and sweets- theyre your favorite. SUCH a sweet tooth like your daddy haha.  You have lost two bottom teeth and one is loose next to the bottom teeth.  Your top teeth have not come yet.

You are a great big brother- constantly helping me and caring for W and L.  You constantly check on them.  You are the best! 

 

Banks we love you so much.  You are SUCH a special boy!  I know I am your mom and I am biased, but mark my words- you are going to do something big one day.  You just have something special about you, God has given you a multitude of talents.  I cannot wait to be amazed.  We are so thankful you are ours!
