Walker: 8 Months

Your 8 month post is a little late due to some technical difficulties I have been having with my computer.  We are almost fixed, so that is good news! 

Buddy, you are EIGHT months old! 

You still just have two teeth.  

You still sleep two naps, one at 9am and one at 2pm.  Both are 2-2.5 hours, the longer one in the afternoon.  You sleep 7:30-7/7:30 every night. You are a very good sleeper! You love your paci at night and for naps. 

You eat all kinds of table foods, you've pretty much tried it all (except peanut butter and eggs).  You LOVE grapes, raspberries, sweet potatoes, peas, cheese, and animal crackers. 

I can't think of any food dislikes yet. 

You are scooting on your belly across the room! 

You are wearing a size 4 diaper and 9-12 month clothes! 

You are giggly and happy and LOVE being held.  You are a cuddle and will rest your little head on my chest when you're tired or just needing a snuggle.  You can ROCK your exersaucer and jump like a maniac!  I've never seen a baby go so crazy in it! 

You babble all the time and love the sound of your own voice.  You love looking in mirrors, too!

You adore your big bro and just watch him all the time.  He loves you too!  

Nicknames are "walker man," "walker-roo," and "walk-a-doodle"

Your hands are in your mouth constantly and I would assume another tooth is coming! 

We can barely hold you because you squirm and push off on us constantly.  You are ready to be on the move! You are SO strong!

At the very end of this month you started to have stranger danger.  When we do you off at church nursery you cry a little bit and it breaks my heart.  They say you're over in just a few minutes. 

We have given you a sippy cup to try and you can do a straw and a regular sippy both easily!  You LOVE water. 

You are growing up too fast, Walker!  My little baby is turning into a mobile, giggly, happy, playing baby!  We love you so much and couldn't imagine a day without you!
