The big events like the circus, holidays, birthdays, etc are all fun to document, but what happens in between those big events is what I want to remember most. The days spent playing with cousins, hanging out in the yard, dentist appts etc. are what make up 90% of our life. I treasure the time I am home with my boys. You cannot get this time back and its such a treat to be with them!
For her bday in January Blakely got bunk beds! They are now a hub of play for the kids, especially the top bunk, which they figured out how to get into without the ladder. They have had two slumber parties so far and they've been two big successes!
At Auntie's house we play with garage toys...a lot! That includes scooters, the john deere tractor, tricycles, shopping carts, etc. It is these little ones favorite thing to do! Of note, KK is not a good driver...at all.
Cheese!
This one is a wild man, and no he was not driving, thankfully his feet cannot reach the pedals. He does like to ride, though!
We went to Banks dental cleaning and Walker tagged along and go to play, too!
Such a big boy at the dentist and so brave!
Yard fun again
Before church one morning and neither felt like cooperating for the picture. Walker's face cracks me up. And also note there are three dinosaurs in this picture, story of our life.
The most exciting thing to happen in recent months was a new job for Matt. He has appreciated his time in Orangeburg but the long hours and long commute was very stressful on both him and me. Well a HUGE answer to prayer, Matt got offered a job at Lexington Medical! God's faithfulness is all over this story and I wish I had time to tell the whole thing. It truly is an answer to prayer. I know God doesn't always answer prayers in the way we think they should be answered, but this is truly a blessing to our family. Matt's commute is cut in 1/3 and is home for dinner at night. What a game-changer for our family. We took a little field trip up on a Saturday to visit Daddy's office.
Banks pretended he was in charge ;)
Banks' Valentines he took to school! Thanks GG!
Speaking of Valentine's Day, we had a special Valentines dinner to Cola's with friends! What a fun night!
Enjoying slightly warmer weather, we are ready for spring!
