Tubes

My sweet middle boy has had a rough go with ear infections.  We never dealt with them with B so it kind of took me by surprise.  He got a bad ear infection beginning of October and despite Dr. Dee Dee's best efforts with every antibiotic under the sun, he could never shake it.  Well we visited the ENT late January and it was time for tubes!

 

I have to say this boy was SUCH a trooper throughout the process. He basically had an ear infection for 3 months and this baby was still happy and slept well the whole time.  I am a proud mama, what tough cookie!

 

Tubes day!  He did great! He was a little fussy afterwards, but overall was back to normal after AM nap.  Go Walker!

This was little man at his follow up appt 6 weeks later.  Tubes have made SUCH a difference for him! He is sleeping great, smiley, happy, and playful. He started walking like a week after tubes were in and started with all kinds of words, too.  Thankful for modern medicine and a way to help this little one get better!
