We had a wonderful Easter!
We did traditional Easter baskets that morning.
Banks was up earlier than Walker so he waited outside Walkers room for him to wake up, haha.
Finally, Easter bunny time!
Banks got an intensely educational dinosaur book...and he loved it. Walker enjoyed the dinos too!
Dressed and ready to go to church to celebrate that He is Risen and the tomb is empty!
Banks was not a fan of his purple "girl color" shirt, but he got over it pretty quickly.
Yaya came to church, too so she stopped by to see what the Easter bunny had brought before we went!
After church it was GG and Pop Pops for lunch!
Make a silly face! KK is killing me!!!
It was a little wet and rainy, but the Easter egg hunt could not be delayed. We let the kids change into play clothes so that they could get messy if needed.
Walker was a big fan of the egg hunt!
And of course so was B...
They all took it very seriously
Walker discovered the Tball and that was all he wanted to do! He could even put the ball back on the T himself :)
My mom had five Easter activities planned for the day to do outside, but because it was a little rainy, some got moved into the garage. It was still a blast!
Dying Easter eggs with colored shaving cream...
Dot marker designs of Easter bunnies, eggs, chicks, etc.
Dying Easter eggs
Then there was also limbo, which who knew would be such a hit!
Yall, Walker got the concept RIGHT away and he was so good. He was so happy truly playing along with the big kids. Every time he would go under he would clap for himself!
There he goes!
The true limbo champ was Banks...he was freakishly good crawling on that belly!
What a fun Easter it was!
As much hype as Christmas gets (which it is important for obvious reasons), there should be equal if not more for Easter. This is the day our Savior defeated death and rose again! Oh how that news never gets old!
