This past weekend we had the privilege of attending Matt's dad and Pam's wedding. It was such a beautiful weekend from start to finish.
The wedding was in Buies Creek, NC. They picked this location because Mr. Jeff's brother was a dean at Campbell University and helped design the chapel on campus a few years ago. This was a huge project for him and we are extremely proud of him and the Chapel is gorgeous! It was the perfect setting for this weekend.
The weekend started on Friday morning with the boys playing golf, of course. We got ready back at the hotel and then headed to the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. The rehearsal dinner was held at the Barrington House, a beautiful bed and breakfast.
It was the perfect night! The weather could not have been more gorgeous!
On the menu was caesar salad, shrimp and grits, pork tenderloin, sweet potatoes, and green beans. Yum!
The bride and groom arrive to the party!
I have to laugh at Matt for just one second. Bless his heart, he just doesn't know sometimes. He was at the rehearsal and I just met him at the dinner. When he arrived, he so kindly said to me, "you look so beautiful tonight! No seriously, you look gorgeous! I bet you look eight months pregnant!" I had to explain to him that telling a girl that is 5 months pregnant that she looks 8 months wasn't a compliment. At least I know he meant well ;)
This is Travis, Pam's son, Mr. Jeff, Pam, Ashley, her daughter, and Keith, her husband.
Like I mentioned the wedding was held at Butler Chapel, the chapel on Campbell's campus.
The chapel is breath taking!
During the service Matt read scripture twice...he did a good job :)
Married!
Jeff's brother, Uncle Mike, is a minster and he married them. He also married Matt and me.
This is Taylor, Joya's boyfriend, Joya, Matt's cousin, Mr. Jeff, Pam, and then Matt's cousin Jason and his family Lori, Thomas, and Hampton
Me, Ashley, Pam, and Jordan
We told them they looked like the royal wedding up on the balcony waving to their "subjects!"
Happy bride and groom!
Thomas and Hampton (Matt's cousin's boys) are the CUTEST little boys! They were just cracking us up all weekend. Spending the weekend with them made me that much more excited about having a little boy, they sure are fun!
Congratulations Mr. Jeff and Pam, we could not be more excited! Have fun in Martha's Vineyard, we will see you when you get back!
