This past weekend we packed up our bags and headed to Mandy's parents' lake house for the weekend with our friends. We took advantage of the unscheduled, unplanned time and truly escaped.
We spent the weekend cooking...
eating as family on the big kitchen table...
played a little ping pong...
taking pictures of everything...
lots of "guy talk..."
plenty of much needed "girl talk..."
of course some wedding planning thrown in the mix...
there may have even been a corn hole tournament...
This weekend was exactly what I needed with exactly who I needed to spend it with. Its so nice to be able to just relax with be yourselves. Big thanks to the Readings for letting us stay at their beautiful lake house for the weekend!
